A component of ACNL’S Provincial HIV/HCV Services Program, the Supportive Housing Program aims to provide safe, affordable housing for persons 18 or older who are living with, or at risk for, HIV/AIDS and/or Hep C. The program provides light case management services to residents and aims to promote housing stability, enhance quality of life, build on individual strengths, and encourage independence.

ACNL has 6 on-site housing units (five 1-bedroom and one 2-bedroom)

  • Accessibility features, self-contained, external entrances
  • Shared laundry facilities
  • Rent according to affordable housing guidelines

ACNL is not able to:

  • Administer medications
  • Provide treatment for physical or mental illnesses
  • Provide any type of homecare service
  • Provide permanent housing
  • Provide transportation

Eligibility requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Living with, or at risk for, HIV/AIDS and/or Hep C
  • Willing to develop a case plan and work toward the achievement of self-identified goals
  • Willing to sign and abide by established guidelines and a Tenancy Agreement
