The Take Home Naloxone (THN) Program started in 2017 based on an increase in overdoses reported throughout the province.
In partnership with the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador and NL Health Services, SWAP began the distribution of Naloxone kits and training free of charge through various community organizations and health authorities across Newfoundland & Labrador.
