The Take Home Naloxone (THN) Program started in 2017 based on an increase in overdoses reported throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. In partnership with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, SWAP began the distribution of Naloxone kits and training free of charge through various community organizations and health authorities around Newfoundland and Labrador.
